Lorena Ruíz

Lorena is an amazing teacher! She’s very patient and creates a great environment for learning. I’ve been taking classes with her to help with my speaking and writing. She’s been a life saver! I’ve tried many different teachers on different sites, but she is truly one of the best!

Lorena is a fun, engaging, and patient teacher. She is great at speaking at a level that I can understand and helping me expand my vocabulary. I look forward to my lessons with her!

Lorena strikes me as an experienced and very competent teacher. I found her very easy to understand. She suggested some excellent ideas for future lessons based on my specific language objectives.

Lorena is an incredible tutor. Through our weekly meetings, my comfort and enjoyment speaking Spanish has grown exponentially. My initial goal was to become more fluent in conversation so I could serve Spanish-speaking patients. Lorena challenges me during sessions to use more complex grammatical concepts and vocabulary, but somehow our meetings feel relaxed. She has a breadth of knowledge in a diverse range of topics, so I can practice terms related to my profession, but also chat about personal life, politics, literature, and pets. Learning with Lorena has been the best investment I've made the past year.

I have had several classes with Lorena and really am enjoying learning from her! She is very patient and encouraging, and has gotten me more comfortable with speaking (and making mistakes), which was my main goal when I started italki. I am excited to keep working with her!
