*Please note: I only teach adults*. Hello! I'm Julian from South Africa. I have a 420-hour TEFL Diploma (Level 5) and over 5 years of online teaching experience.
If you feel stuck, fearful, or nervous when speaking English, I'm the right teacher for you. My proven communication strategies have worked for 100s of my students. They can now speak freely in English.
I offer 3 courses on iTalki: Business English, Job Interview Preparation and Conversational Fluency.

Active learning 👌 (= learning by doing) is the foundation of all my classes and is the best way to improve your English level. There are NO boring lectures in my classes. Some learning activities in my courses include:

✔ Mock job interviews that reflect the actual situation you will experience in a real job interview

TEFL - i-to-i - 2021This is a 420-hour Advanced TEFL Diploma. I had to complete seven written assignments to gain this qualification. This qualification allows me to teach General English, Business English, IELTS and CLIL.

TEFL Advanced Diploma - i-to-i - 2021This diploma included a 60-hour Teaching Business English certificate which covered all aspects of the teaching Business English such as lesson planning, teaching business vocabulary, speaking, grammar, writing and pronunciation.

Julian recently helped me get a new job after I took his interview preparation course. He is always well prepared for each class and taught me how to structure my answers in a logical and fluent way. It was also useful to learn how to tell effective stories in an interview, which is one of the most important communication skills. Over the past four months, Julian helped me prepare for my interview with one of the biggest airlines in the world. At the same time, I had an ICAO English exam that I needed to pass in order to keep my piloting licence. Julian was able to successfully assist me with both the exam and the interview. My exam results were better than 3 years before and I also successfully passed every round of the interviews and now I will be working for a company that I have dreamed of working for since I have been a child! This is a dream come true for me and my family. Julian is an organised and effective tutor. He is always well prepared for every class and is able to offer effective strategies to answer each interview question.
