Mona

She has been my teacher for a year or 66 lessons. I learn a lot of her. She is a native english speaker and a good, patient, funny Tutor. I love her accent. I´m saticfied and want to continue with her.

One of the language learning goals I set for myself in 2022 was to better understand how English is used in different parts of the English-speaking world. Since Jamaica is one of those countries I'm interested in, I started looking for a Jamaican English teacher who could help me with my studies. It was then when I found Mona's profile on italki. I can honestly say that she's one of the best teachers I've ever had the opportunity of learning from; she is knowledgeable and professional, friendly and helpful, as well as patient and understanding, she always listens to the needs of her students and has a great sense of humor too. So far we've covered a wide range of topics, and in addition to helping me with my English, she has also given me an insight into Jamaican culture and Jamaican Creole/Patois that I can't thank her enough for that. I recommend booking a lesson with Mona to anyone who is looking for an awesome English and Patois teacher!
