I'm Alba and I live in Madrid, I'm Spanish but I grew up in Lisbon, so I'm bilingual. I studied Media and worked in cinema and TV for some years. Now I teach languages online. In my spare time I dance.

The conversational classes in Spanish or Portuguese will feel like a talking to a friend, if you want to work on a specific topic let me know and I'll bring material for it. In the basic level classes of Portuguese, I'll use a text book to learn from scratch.
Las clases de conversación serán como hablar con un amigo, si quieres trabajar sobre un tema dímelo y llevaré material. En las clases de nivel básico de portugués, utilizaré un libro de texto para aprender desde cero.

My lessons with Alba have been amazing - she's been so helpful as I'm reading my first book in Spanish! In preparation for our lessons, we read a few chapters, I write a brief summary of each chapter, and Alba provides edits on grammar, sentence structure, and word choice. During our meetings we talk about the content of the chapters and review my summaries. These lessons have not only been helpful for my Spanish reading and writing proficiency, but also my speaking.

I've been taking Portuguese conversation classes with Alba for a few months, and it's always a pleasure. I don't have any option to practice Portuguese in my daily life, so our chats are a great addition to more traditional, grammar-focused classes I take. She is very open minded and asks interesting questions that push me to use the language in a natural way, without any pressure.

I've been taking Alba's classes for a couple of months now. Classes never feel like classes really, more like fun & natural conversations in which you learn loads. Her style of teaching is very easy-going and adaptable. Plus she's always on time and provides good materials. 100% recommended!

My first lesson with Alba was really a good experience. My level of Spanish is not advanced but I managed to talk a lot more than I expected, which I am very happy about. Alba patiently helped me when I struggled with vocabulary and conjugations.
