Hi there, welcome to my class, I’m Mark, I come from Colchester, just east of London, UK. I’m currently living in Akita, Japan. I am looking for 1 or 2 students to teach on Fridays only.
I love to have discussions with my students on topics such as travel, hobbies, interests, likes and dislikes, culture in different countries, music and sports.
I am also able to discuss more serious topics such as news, politics, work issues, health, issues in society, the environment, science, technology and philosophy.教学经验
I’ve been teaching English for over 10 years in Japan.
My English accent is a southern English accent.
Every year in spring and autumn, I teach academic English to undergraduate students in Japan. I teach speaking, listening, reading and writing courses. I also have experience teaching business English to the employees of a Japanese multinational company, one of the leading semiconductor companies in the world. I have quite a relaxed style of teaching, and I aim to make each lesson student focused.
Our first lesson will be about getting to know one another, finding out what you need and in what context you’d like to learn. For example, work, study, or as a hobby.
Once I’ve got to know you, and we’ve found that common bond, I aim to offer guidance but not lecture. I’ll give you a few nudges and help you to progress naturally and comfortably.我的教学资料

Subjects included academic writing skills and theory, philosophy, social theory, geographical information systems, statistics and discourse analysis.
