Hello,
My name is Melvin Lamy, I am French and I have a MA degree in French teaching. I have taught in a Slovak high school for a year, and since September 2022 I have been teaching for the French foreign ministry in Moldova. My goal is to make you fluent in French. I have several passions such as literature, modern art, travelling, sports and, of course, teaching. During my experience, I have learned to be patient, understanding, and tolerant of my students. I want my students to be at ease in my class. I am versatile, and I can help you prepare for language exams, work on your spoken and written expression, as well as your listening and reading comprehension.教学经验
I can teach French to beginner, intermediate, and advenced learners. During my studies, I have helped students from all continents learn French and prepare for official exams such as the DELF or the DALF. With great success. Afterwards, I went to Slovakia to teach French and now teach for the French Foreign ministry in Moldova. These experiences were amazing and thanks to this professional practice, I began to enjoy teaching French to poeple of different levels. I want you to succeed, and I am ready to adapt to your needs and wishes; so, if you have a specific request, don't hesitate (i.e exam preparation, speaking skills, etc...) When you book a lesson, I will send you a message to ask what your learning goals are. I know how to adapt to my student's needs, and we will work on the skills you wish to improve. I will organize a relevant course according to your personal goals. I can also take charge of the course content myself if you don't have any idea : For beginners, I obviously focus on slow and comprehensible conversations so that you improve your speaking and listening skills. I can adapt my classes according to the level of the student and their requests. To begin with, we will work on the basics of the French language. Then, we will study specific points. Melvin jumped straight in and seemed knowledgeable. He used the chat feature a lot to solidify oral/written comprehension. He was very straight to the point so it really felt like I was getting the most out of my trial lesson.

Melvin has been a joy to learn from. He speaks at a pace just above my level, which challenges me and helps improve my listening comprehension. He is also very skilled in the way he directs the conversation, which allows me to have an easier time figuring out what to say during conversation. Because of this, 95% of the lesson is in French and I feel like I am greatly improving my listening and speaking skills.
