Greetings to all. 🙌 If you are looking for an experienced and certified Tibetan teacher then you are on the right profile! I am a native Tibetan speaker and currently I am living in Dharamsala, India. I have completed my Bachelor’s Degree (Shastri Degree) in Tibetan Grammar and Literature, along with English and Buddhist Philosophy from Central Institute of Higher Tibetan Studies, Sarnath, Varanasi, and my Master’s degree from Namgyal Institute of Tibetology (Affiliated with Sikkim University) Gangtok, Sikkim. I am also working as a translator from English to Tibetan, and vice versa. My goal with teaching and life in general is to provide people with more value than they expect. 🙂教学经验
For over five years, I've been instructing Tibetan language online to individuals who aren't native speakers. Throughout this experience, I've covered a spectrum of subjects, ranging from Classical and standard Tibetan to colloquial speech, grammar, reading, and calligraphy, catering to students at all skill levels. With a roster exceeding 100 students, I've witnessed their progression from novice to adept, a testament to the collaborative efforts invested by both student and instructor. My commitment lies in demystifying Tibetan pronunciation, everyday usage, and overall fluency, tailored to each student's learning objectives.

Learning with me is fun and relaxed; 😃there is no need to be nervous about making mistakes. Your level, motivations, and learning style are more important to me, so I always keep that in mind. I am a relaxed teacher that is dedicated to your success in learning Tibetan. I will set you homework that will help you to solidify what you have learned. Norbu Samphel has been a very helpful teacher for me. He has an excellent knowledge of the Tibetan language, and offers such clear and understandable explanations. On top of that, his cheerful personality and joy of learning make class a pleasant and relaxed experience. I highly recommend him as a teacher.

teacher was good in the beginning of learning process, but perhaps he got too many students on hand, he is not able to keep track of my learning progress and blame me for not wanting to focus on certain topics when in fact, he just forgot about where we left off. This happened on at least two occasions, it's getting very frustrating... he kept saying "I assume you think..." "I thought you wanted..." so pointless as a purely guessing game from his end... I will give him another chance before I contemplating switching teacher
