Fatima

Fatima is so pleasant to work with and accommodating. We usually start with back and forth chit-chat about how things are going which provides plenty of opportunity for talking about the past, the present and future plans. She also provides me with current news articles which I read aloud, she provides feedback on pronunciation (which I asked that she do) and each paragraph usually prompts a conversation in which I can express my opinion on whatever the topic may be. She is happy to answer any questions and is always encouraging.

Fatima was AMAZING! Exactly what I was looking for in a teacher. She has a really methodical and fun approach, and doesn't just aim for memorization - she wants to create a deep understanding of the internal logic and beauty of a language. She was such a delight as a person that I went way over time because of how much I enjoyed the discussion! And, for English-language learners: From my perspective as an American who writes professionally, Fatima's command of English surpasses many native speakers. She's a gem!
