I also value communication with my students, because I find it very important that the schedule of the lessons works for them, that they are motivated, well rested and ready. Magdalena is highly knowledgeable about Croatia and the surrounding Balkan nations. Through her guidance, I learned about the similarities and differences between Balkan Slavic languages, as well as other Eastern European Slavic languages like Ukrainian and Russian. She was incredibly patient with me throughout the process. I was particularly surprised by the similarities between Serbian, Bosnian, and Croatian.
