My name is Hinako and I’m from Kanagawa, but I currently live in Tokyo. I have experience living abroad: I lived in Hong Kong for 5 years, the United States for 1 year, and I currently live in Spain. I love socializing with people from different backgrounds and countries, and I believe language is the key to developing diverse and meaningful relationships. I am really passionate about learning languages (I'm studying Spanish at the moment), and I understand how difficult it can be too! For fun, I enjoy anime, manga, cooking, reading, and traveling.

教学经验

Not only that I am a certified professional Japanese teacher, I also have professional experience in linguistics and translation (English and Japanese), and I myself am an avid language learner, studying Spanish in Spain. I graduated from a top-ranked Japanese university and wrote many essays and papers, so I'm quite comfortable teaching writing and reading as well. I also worked for a large Japanese company, so I teach business Japanese too.

I believe in making my students comfortable, allowing them to feel confident in speaking and using Japanese, while providing feedback in an easy-to-understand way. I focus on natural conversation and natural Japanese, rather than esoteric textbook Japanese. I am also happy to customize the lesson to your goals and interests! The number one thing I want to provide you with is enjoyment from learning Japanese! I consider myself a very patient person, and I think making mistakes is part of the process of learning. Let’s enjoy Japanese!
