My name is Aris and I grew up in a household, where we spoke Catalan, Spanish and Greek on a daily basis. This made multilingualism the rule for me. After some time I started adding other languages to my repertoire: English, French, Russian, German, and finally Bosnian/Croatian/Serbian. Yes, that’s 8 languages! Next might be Turkish, Farsi, or Ukrainian.
I have lived in Barcelona, Saint Petersburg, Graz, Rijeka, and Sarajevo so far, and I am excited to eventually expand that list. I love travelling and sincerely approaching new languages and cultures. Besides, I enjoy simply talking to people about anything from history to sports or music, if possible while drinking a cup of Turkish coffee.教学经验
I have taught languages for years now and have developed the empathy and skills needed to help others. Having learned so many languages myself, I can put into practice my own insights to offer a wholesome learning experience.
The main skill that I have acquired is the ability to listen to the other person and to grasp what he/she wants to say. I also learned when to speak so as not to interrupt the other person when he/she is into motion.
I would say that I am a patient and understanding language teacher who knows how to create a pleasant environment for learners. I try to make them feel comfortable enough to leave fear aside and grasp the nettle, that is, speaking without fear or shame!我提供的课程和我的教学风格
My teaching style is flexible and entertaining yet well-structured and enriching. I try to adapt to the learner, his/her learning objectives and personality, to offer a tailored experience.
Regarding my preferences, I believe that engaging in exchanges is the best way to gain confidence in a language, and that is why I love teaching conversation courses. However, these have to be well-thought and both preceded and followed by tasks and materials. In this regard, I always try to grasp what the learner's interests are to choose the topics accordingly.
On the other hand, I am very flexible and can adapt my lessons to work on the the linguistic competences that are more relevant to each case.我的教学资料

Aris is really nice and patient. I like that he tailored the session to things I could use for travel since that is my goal. He’s easy to understand and kept things interactive. He also got me back on track when I went way off topic since I have ADHD 😂
