ako-san あこさん

Ako-Sensei has been extremely helpful during our lessons. Before, I didn’t have any experience in speaking Japanese; however, with Ako-Sensei, we speak in Japanese all the time and I am being much more confident. If I make any mistakes or have any questions, she is happy to explain in an easy to understand way to me. I would greatly recommend Ako-Sensei if you want to become better with your speaking!

今日も楽しいレッスンをくれてありがとうございます。「空気を読む」を習いました。テキストはこのトピックをあまり教えないので、お願いを聞いてくれてありがとうございます！日本語だけでなく、日本文化も学ぶことが大切で、面白いと思います。 Thank you for another fun lesson today. I learned about ‘reading the air.’ Since the textbook doesn’t really touch on this topic much, I really appreciate you granting my request!　I think that it is important and fun to learn about Japanese culture as well.

Today, we have conversation practise using casual Japanese and also did a roleplay in a convenience store setting, just like I requested. We also went over my homework Ako-Sensei corrected me on my mistakes. I look forward to next lesson! 今日、タメ口で会話練習して、コンビニの台本でロールプレイをしました。後で先生と宿題をレビューをして、直しました。次回を楽しみにしている！

I was very nervous before the lesson, but Ako made it very easy and fun! She celebrated every time when I was able to understand her and answered her question. I think she is a great teacher and I will keep following her!

今日も素晴らしいレッスンをしてくれました。先生、ありがとうございます！最初に、タメ口を練習したいので、タメ口でフリートーキングしました。その後、一緒に居酒屋での注文を練習して、色々な食べ物の買い方を習いました。最後に、発音を練習して、間違いを直してもらいました。来週のレッソンで空気の読み方を頼んだので、楽しみにしています。 We had a great lesson today. Thank you Sensei. We started by talking by talking casually and having a free talk so I can practise casual speech. Later, we practised ordering food at an izakaya where I was able to order many different types of things. Finally, we practised pronunciation and Sensei corrected my mistakes. I requested to learn about "Reading the room" in Japanese next lesson and am looking forward to it.

Today, me and Ako-Sensei started doing roleplays in different situations in Japanese, such as booking a hotel room, which was very fun. I am feeling much more confident for the next time I go to Japan. We also had some free talk and went over my mistakes in my homework. Thank you for you hard work Sensei! 今日、先生とロールプレイをしました。ホテルの人と話す練習をして、とても楽しかったです。次に日本に行ったら、自信があります。フリートークしたり、宿題の間違いを直したりしました。先生、お疲れ様！
