Hi, there! 🙋🏻‍♀️ I am Laiba, and I'm from Pakistan 🇵🇰I am a native Urdu speaker and have a deep understanding of the language and its culture. I am passionate about sharing my knowledge and love for Urdu with my students 🧑‍🎓 and helping them develop a strong appreciation for the language. السلام علیکم! میں لائبہ ہوں، اور میں پاکستان سے ہوں۔ میں ایک مقامی اردو بولنے والی ہوں اور اس زبان اوراس کی ثقافت کی گہری سمجھ رکھتی ہوں۔ میں اپنے طالب علموں کے ساتھ اردو کے لیے اپنا علم اور محبت بانٹنے کے لیے پرجوش ہوں۔

I like to create a warm and welcoming classroom environment that encourages practice, participation, and mutual respect. I tend to be approachable, responsive, and provide constructive feedback, motivating students to improve their language skills. So that, my students feel comfortable expressing themselves in Urdu and are motivated to learn more about the language and its culture. میں کلاس روم کا ایک خوش آئند ماحول بنانا پسند کرتی ہوں جو مشق، شرکت اور باہمی احترام کی حوصلہ افزائی کرتا ہے۔ میں طلباء کو فیڈ بیک فراہم کرتی ہوں، جس سے طلباء کو ان کی اردو کی مہارت کو بہتر بنانے کی ترغیب ملتی ہے۔ میں چاہتی ہوں کہ میرے طلباء اردو میں اظہار خیال کرنے میں آسانی محسوس کریں۔

My teaching approach is student-centered and tailored to meet the individual needs and learning styles of my students. I use a variety of teaching materials and resources to make the learning process interesting, interactive, and fun. My goal is to help my students develop strong Urdu language skills, including speaking, listening, reading, and writing. میرا تدریسی طریقہ طلباء پر مرکوز ہے اور میرے طلباء کی انفرادی ضروریات اور سیکھنے کے انداز کے مطابق تیار کیا گیا ہے۔ میں سیکھنے کے عمل کو دلچسپ، انٹرایکٹو، اور تفریحی بنانے کے لیے مختلف تدریسی مواد اور وسائل کا استعمال کرتی ہوں۔ میرا مقصد اپنے طلباء کو اردو زبان کی مضبوط مہارتوں بشمول بولنے، سننے، پڑھنے اور لکھنے میں مدد کرنا ہے۔

I put off learning Urdu for ages but now I wish I’d started years ago because Laiba makes it so fun and easy to understand. I’ve been so impressed with the effort she puts into each class. She breaks down the grammar, has resources to back this up, and knows which ideas to introduce gradually. She quickly assesses your experience and adjusts the lesson speed to suit you, whether you have prior experience with the language or you’re starting from scratch. Plus we always have a right laugh. Thank you Laiba :))

I figured I'd update this review since I've been taking classes with Laiba for six months now. With just one class a week in that time, I've gone from zero to being able to express many of my thoughts and having day-to-day conversations. Every lesson is well structured, full of examples and exercises and even comes with homework. The teacher readily responds to feedback and will adapt the lesson to your learning speed. So I always feel that I am challenged just the right amount. Urdu is not the easiest language to learn but her classes make things like grammar fun. I can see from the other reviews on here as well that many of her students have become long-term students, which speaks for itself. Overall, I'd highly recommend you take a class with her.

Laiba's teaching has been exceptional in my Urdu learning journey. Having completed over 40 lessons with her, I'm happy with my progress. Her exceptionally supportive approach, learning materials and patience has significantly enhanced my learning experience. Thanks to her teaching, I’m now able to hold basic conversations and read simple stories in Urdu. Also, I’m now able to express my thoughts to my family members in Pakistan which has been goal of mine for awhile. Laiba's structured lesson plans and encouragement have made my Urdu journey both enjoyable and effective. I highly recommend her to anyone seeking a skilled and encouraging Urdu instructor.
