Yoko【ようこ】

Yokoさん is such a wonderful, kind and dedicated teacher. I have learnt so much Japanese since I started classes with her and I love her energy and passion for teaching. She is very patient and I feel comfortable making mistakes and practicing speaking. She is very organised and has useful material to practice with and repeats phrases and new words so you remember them. I’m very lucky to have found Yokoさん to help me with my Japanese. Thank you! 😊

I've been taking lessons with 陽子 for almost 3 months now, her lessons are always enjoyable, and she provides great notes afterwards which have proven useful for revising. Highlighting both mistakes that I am making for me to revisit, along with new vocab etc. too. She always brings a positive attitude, I'm intending on continuing lessons with her for quite a while, and I can recommend her to others that are looking for Japanese conversation practise.

Yoko san was very easy to practice conversation with! She was very helpful when I didn't know how to say something but very encouraging so I didn't feel silly trying out words.

Yoko-sensei is a fantastic teacher that is great at facilitating conversation in Japanese with a learning focus, and using the topics discussed to boost the student's vocabulary at a pace comfortable for them. She is also great at being encouraging and patient if the student is struggling to find the right words to say, and she adjusts very well to the student's level in Japanese. With how hard it can be sometimes for a student to retain knowledge between lessons, she ensures that the student can leave the lesson with things to study, and also incorporates those things into subsequent lessons to help with retention. If the student is looking to learn or improve in Japanese, Yoko-sensei is an excellent teacher to have.
