Mel The Viking

I enjoy and value working with Melina very, very much. She creates a relaxing and highly effective environment to practice speaking Swedish, and she is a joy to work with and get to know. I look forward to working with her as I reach my goal of being fluent in Swedish!

The lesson was great! Mel was really fun to talk with, she was really patient with me, helped me provide additional vocabulary, and the atmosphere was really chill. If you are on the fence, this is your sign to book a lesson already :)

Omg, Mel is such a patient and yet enthusiastic teacher in our weekly Swedish conversation class! Always on time, brings great vibes to each lesson, very helpful with vocabulary and grammar tips. Her experience abroad and multiple languages she has studied gives her a global perspective and language learning sensibilities. Her location in N Sweden gives a new perspective on life in this country, rather than just the Stockholm point of view. Living in N Sweden myself, I appreciate this. On top of it all Mel is just plain fun. It's a bright point every week when we meet and I then fumble through Swedish with nothing but encouragement from her. Absolutely my favorite language teacher ever.

Always love my lessons with Mel! She knows her stuff, has lots of language knowledge in general, is fun and energetic, and provides good notes during class which are helpful to review and study after the session. Thanks Mel!! Can’t wait to be able to talk about more topics soon!
