Zonja Florentina is a very patient and flexible teacher. She is very good at adjusting her approach for different learning styles. I appreciate how she elevates and adds to guided textbook learning by giving practical examples and context. I have been out of school for many years, but she has helped greatly with my confidence in learning Albanian!

I started taking lessons with Florentina in January, and I truly cannot recommend her enough! Her patience and encouragement have been invaluable in helping me build my confidence to speak Albanian. I was born and raised in the U.S., and both of my parents from Kosovo. While I grew up hearing Albanian at home, I always responded in English, which left me lacking both the skills and confidence to speak it myself. Finding a tutor who teaches the Gheg/Kosovar dialect was incredibly difficult, especially with so few resources available online. But finding Florentina has been an absolute blessing. During our lessons, she has been incredibly helpful, whether it’s helping improve my pronunciation or engaging in conversational practice. If you're looking for a kind and dedicated Albanian tutor—especially one highly skilled in the different dialects—I wholeheartedly recommend Florentina. She has truly made a difference in my learning journey, and I’m so grateful to have found her!

Florentina is a very good teacher for me because she adapts her teaching method to the necessity of her students; For example I prefer to have more talking than exercises but she can also follow the book and give exercices, homework. In order words she is flexible, available and very very friendly.

Florentina is very kind and patient. She’s been able to pinpoint where I struggle and creates lessons based on where we see I can improve. She comes to every lesson prepared with a plan and is open to any suggestions I may have. I recommend her to anyone trying to learn Albanian as she is very knowledgeable in both dialects. 10/10!

Florentina is an exceptional and excellent teacher with a wide knowledge of the Albanian language and knows how to teach it in an organized manner. The role models we do in situations helps in making the student progress quickly in the language. She explains the grammar part in a detailed and concise manner and give the student the chance to speak, which builds self-confidence. She is creative and makes the learning experience worthy.
