Hi! My name is Ana Miramontes and I am an actor based in New York City. I was born and raised in Cuauhtemoc, Chihuahua, Mexico. I learned English when I moved to the United States after I finished highschool. I love doing and watching theatre, making pottery, and watching movies! I have a double BA in Theatre and Media Advertising, and an MFA in Theatre Acting.
¡Hola! Me llamo Ana Miramontes, soy actriz y vivo en la ciudad de Nueva York. Nací y crecí en Cuauhtémoc, Chihuahua, México. Aprendí inglés cuando me mudé a los Estados Unidos después de terminar la preparatoria. Amo hacer teatro, cerámica y ver películas. You will get out of these lessons what you want to get. I can be a relaxed teacher or more strict, depending on what you need. The purpose of these lessons is to help you improve and achieve your goals. Because of my background in theatre and teaching theatre, I will make sure you feel empowered to own your words and confident when speaking Spanish. We will make it fun, for sure!

For teaching Spanish, I like to focus on my students' goals and create a plan from there. Are you planning on visiting a specific place? Are you working on a monologue in Spanish? Do you just want to learn Spanish to impress your friends? I will help you figure out what it is that you want to accomplish and make a plan to achieve your goal.
