I’m Ian. After living in Seoul for over 20 years, I now reside in Canada. I work as a Korean tutor on italki to share the Korean language and culture. I love traveling and exploring the unique regions of Korea, and I incorporate these experiences into my lessons. I also enjoy Korean games and video content, which allows me to engage in interesting conversations with students about games, movies, and the arts while helping them improve their Korean skills. My goal is to help students gain a deep understanding of Korea. I fully understand the challenges of learning a new language and strive to make the journey of learning Korean both enjoyable and effective for my students.教学经验
With over two years of experience as a media instructor, I am equipped to provide structured and efficient lessons. My teaching experience at media centers, universities, and welfare centers has enabled me to communicate naturally with a wide range of people, and my experience with 1:1 tutoring allows me to quickly identify students' interests and offer tailored learning experiences. I am adept at designing curriculums that align with individual learning goals and adapting my teaching to suit students' learning styles and pace.
