Hi everyone, I'm Federica from Rome. I'm 24 and I have a degree in Modern Literature and a Master's in Modern Philology. I have a deep passion for literature and travel. I've lived in Alicante, Berlin, and Tenerife, but I always take the chance to explore new places. Whether it's short trips within Italy or longer journeys abroad, I'm always looking for fresh experiences. I am a very patient teacher and curious person, and I'm very passionate about exploring new cultures while sharing my own, noticing the cultural differences and focusing also on the extra-linguistic comunication. I believe in connecting grammar to cultural aspects, that are important to understand the society that you (hopefully) will meet one day. I don't mind to repeat the same concept many time, the goal is to learn and mistakes are part of the process. As the latins used to say "repetita iuvant" (it helps to repeat). As a teacher, I follow the communicative approach, that in the recent studies appears to be the most effective: to reach a good aquisition of a language it's necessary to use it in situations that seems as real as possible. For this reason, in our lessons, we’ll often simulate scenarios you might encounter when you’re in Italy, and trying to recreate real life conversation. Obviously, each lesson will be structured according to your needs , ensuring that it’s perfectly suited to your goals and interests. I teach both beginners and more advanced levels, from A1 to B2, but at the moment I don't teach children.我的教学资料

Each session with Frederica has been enjoyable and invigorating. She has helped me past my barriers by speaking to me in Italian and answering lingering questions (sometimes in English and sometimes in Italian) depending on the complexity. I feel encouraged to speak as much as possible therefore I feel very successful at the end of the session. Frederica has customized the time to my interests and abilities. She has given me travel videos to watch so we can discuss them and practice problems when I ask for them. Grazie Frederica.

Frederica is a wonderful teacher. We worked on grammar and talked about every thing from strikes to skiing. The lessons are based on a grammar topic but merge into other topics and interests. It is very invigorating to learn so much while having a meaningful conversation.

I learned so much from the class today. We went over the homework and I learned a new part of the passato prossimo. I practiced describing places. Not as easy as saying it in my head.

Today in class we discussed an exercise on “ci” and places to visit in Italy. It was a perfect combination. Buon Natale e grazie Frederica.
