Hugo is an awesome teacher whose lessons are a lot of fun. He encourages me to step out of my comfort zone and uses creative approaches to help my Portuguese sound more natural such as teaching me slang and colloquialisms as well as having me sing along to Brazilian music. I’m SO glad that I came across Hugo as I was searching for a Portuguese tutor! It was meant to be. I could tell from his profile that he is very dedicated to his students accomplishing their goals. And I was right! Not only is he a great tutor, he has a positive energy and enthusiasm for each class. Hugo easily guides our conversation from topic to topic and asks great prompting questions to get me to think and use new vocabulary. I am always learning something new. Really great.
