Hi I'm Kaori.I currently live in Saitama Japan.

Family👨👩👧👦boy(9) and girl(6) and one dog.
🏠I lived in Victoria B.C Canada 2008 to 2009
Traveled🛫I traveled to more than 20 countries.I love traveling and meeting people from all over the world.
Passion🥰 teaching Japanese, meeting with my friends, playing the piano, and Jounering my thoughts.
📺Favorite Anime:As a kid i used to watch Sailormoon,Yu Yuhakusho,Dragonball,Ruroni kenshin.
Currently I watch Demon slayer, Jujutsu Kaisen, The Apothecary Diaries
🎮Games:I don't play games anymore but I love Final Fantasy series.My all time favorite is 6 and 7😊

I am a native Japanese speaker and also speak English.I teach both Beginner and intermidiate level. I am Fun, friendly, and patient. I can help with speaking and listening skills as well as practicing conversation, usefull expressions that you can't learn from textbooks.
My lesson is very flexible we can use any materials(I have Genki 1 2, Nihongo fun and easy, and PDF i found online, and i also make text for you)We can discuss about it.

I use google document during the lesson you have free access to the document so you can use it for review.
You can ask me about Japanese outside of the lesson. so if you have any questions don't hesitate to contact me!!!!

I've been taking lessons with Kaori-san for many months now and she is always so patient and helpful. I never feel nervous talking to her. Our lessons are always a lot of fun and I'm improving with her help.

Kaori is an excellent teacher. Japanese can be a difficult language to learn, but her lessons are always so relaxing and fun. She teaches new vocabulary and concepts every week, and she has a very positive attitude. I highly recommend her class!

Had an amazing lesson with Kaori today. She really makes the lessons enjoyable as we reviewed and reinforced material from previous lessons. She took extra effort to ensure I understood everything before moving on. The role playing was an invaluable exercise allowing me strengthen my Japanese comprehension. She was super patient encouraging me to self correct my errors AND time to process the learning. The best parts of the lesson were when she said "すごい” to some of my Japanese responses.
At the conclusion of our lesson, although still very much a beginner, I left feeling confident, motivated, and looking forward to our next lesson.

Thank you for the lesson today Kaori sensei! I had so much fun talking to you today as we practiced speaking to each other in Japanese. I know I have a ways to go, but I’m confident I’ll get there one day as long as I keep practicing and studying!
