Luan Machado

I have been taking classes with Luan for almost 2 years now on italki and am still enjoying and learning from every class that I take. He is always improving his classes to benefit his students and continues to tailor every class to the individual’s interests and needs. He has a wonderful way of introducing things that you didn’t know you didn’t know at the right time. He will challenge you when needed and give you patience while you work through the answer. The vocabulary I learn in lessons is always derived from conversations we have on subjects that matter to me which allows me to remember it more easily versus memorizing for the sake of memorizing. I am consistently happy with the improvement that I have had in my Portuguese level since starting classes and look forward to many more. He is a great teacher for any level and you will not be disappointed unless you hate having fun while learning. Thanks Luan for 2 years of putting up with me saying “não sei."

Luan是一位非常好的老师，他很亲切，很有耐心，虽然我英语说得不好，但是和他交流不会觉得紧张，上课非常放松也很有趣。在和Luan学习英语之后我也渐渐开始喜欢英语，对英语有了兴趣。在上课之前他会认真准备，也会给我细致的反馈！最最最最重要的是，感谢Luan帮助我通过了我的TCSOL英语考试！

Eu pratico português com Luan há mais de um ano. Quando começamos a praticar o meu nível era zero. Luan usa uma abordagem criativa para o processo de aprendizagem, ele não desiste de forma alguma das dificuldades de estudantes como eu, a tartaruga lenta.

No me agradó que el enfoque fuera gramatical. Personalmente, prefiero métodos de enseñanza basados en la comprensión. Es como si la comunicación estuviera al servicio de la gramática cuando debería ser al revés.
