I've been an English as a Second Language teacher for over six years now. I came to the profession after growing tired of my life in the UK and wanting to live somewhere much warmer than Cornwall, which is a beautiful place but can get very wet. I moved to Spain in 2016 where I've been living ever since, teaching English and trying my hardest to learn the language.教学经验
As a teacher, I try my best to create a friendly, welcoming space for you to learn English. I know how nerve-wracking it can be as a language learner, no matter what level you are, and so I want you to feel happy and comfortable during our lessons to make mistakes and not feel embarrassed. Making mistakes with me is the best thing you can do as I'll correct you (nicely, of course!) and help you stop making that mistake again. All of this will be done naturally as I don't want anyone to feel overwhelmed by English, particularly when speaking with me.
Due to my style of teaching and personal preference, I do not teach children.我提供的课程和我的教学风格
My teaching style is relaxed but focused. I want you to feel comfortable talking to be, and I don't want you to dread lessons. I provide homework if you want it, but never feel stressed if you don't have time to do it. It's not the end of the world, and we'll have a productive lesson regardless.
Lessons with me are, I hope, like chatting with a friend who corrects you. They're based around one specific topic for each lesson. We can be talking about plastic in the environment one day, and the Game of Thrones episode the next. I will let you know the topic in advance so that you can prepare in advance. If you want it, I'll also provide preparation material.我的教学资料

Our conversation definitely offered food for thought. Will work on argument- Frequent use of technology might result in isolation, which then become detrimental to one’s mental health and critical thinking skills by analysing a. how in-person communication seems to be frustrated by texting and messaging and b. less talking and listening in group discussion isolates an individual and has negative impact on its language ability.

It was amazing to work with Jenny again after more than 3 years! We talked about competitiveness, which i stuck several times in coming up with good examples and making the sentence flow. Her correction of my grammatical mistakes and suggestions on how to write in more depth definitely gave me food for thought. Feeling confident that I can continue improving my long paragraph writing skills!
