My name is Jana and I am a Canadian living in Lisbon, Portugal. I have Bachelor’s degree in Russian Studies & History from Dalhousie University in Halifax, NS, Canada. I hold master’s degree in Slavic Literature and Language from the University of Toronto in Toronto, ON, Canada. I speak French, Russian, and am currently learning Mandarin Chinese and Portuguese. Every student brings their own culture and a different understanding of communication. My goal is to bring a personalized approach to language learning. We will focus on your personal needs and find unique ways to improve your skills through various media channels. Do you like music? movies? literature? We can incorporate your hobbies into our lessons. We will work on intonation, accent, grammar, writing, listening, with a heavy focus on conversation and dialogue.
