Xin chào! My name is Duc. I was born in Hanoi then moved to Ho Chi Minh city when I was 18 to pursue my studies. I’ve stayed in Da Lat, a beautiful mountainous city, for more than 2 years since 2020. And now I’ve been living in Da Nang, a famous beach city of Vietnam, with my sons. By sons, I mean my two cats :D教学经验
Living in different parts of Vietnam has given me the opportunity to understand well the accents and the cultural differences of both the northern and the southern of Vietnam (and hopefully the central’s when I'm in Da Nang)
For many years I’ve been working as English tutor for Vietnamese learners and teaching Vietnamese both online & offline for foreigners and Viet Kieu from different countries. I also work as a photographer and create social content.我提供的课程和我的教学风格
In my lesson I will use visual materials such as videos, music and games, etc, which will keep you engaged the whole time. Depending on your language level and your needs, we can come up with a suitable learning path. In my opinion, the best way to study a language is to have fun with it, through conversations about interesting, practical and customized subjects such as travel and culture. It's obvious Duck has a lot of experience explaining the Vietnamese language to foreigners, his English is excellent and he's great about coming up with conversation questions that will test the skills you've recently learned. He also knows southern and northern accents (which have a lot of important variations) so he will help you no matter which accent you plan to learn. I highly recommend him!

As an experienced language learner and teacher, Duck is probably one of the best teachers I have ever had! We really have many in common and after one week he challenged me to translate sentences from Vietnamese into English and vice versa, and even to read Shakespeare's philosophy , which we succeeded together. This is mind-blowing and so motivating at the same time. :)
