Hi, everyone! I live in Nicaragua, located in Central America. I love languages since basically all my life. I'm currently learning English and Japanese. I wish to learn Swedish and Italian too in the near future. My main hobbies are reading and writing silly stories, watching videos on Youtube, and listening to music. My favorite song is definitively How Deep Is Your Love, from the BeeGees. Other groups I love are ABBA, and The Backstreet Boys. Nice to meet you all! ¡Hola a todos! My main goal is making you feel comfortable while speaking. I know the struggles, I've been there tons of times, so I understand the importance of having someone to rely on and who supports you and pushes you to keep going. It doesn't matter if you make mistakes, that's part of the process. Even native speakers make lots of mistakes and that hasn't stopped us, has it? I hope to keep you motivated and encourage you to use Spanish as much as you can. Practice makes perfect. Mi principal objetivo es conseguir que te sientas cómodo hablando. Comprendo las inseguridades de hablar un nuevo idioma, pero lo más importante es no dejar que los errores nos detengan. La práctica hace al maestro.

We will focus on the things that are more important to you at this moment. Just tell me if you want to focus on listening, speaking, reading, etc. We can make our own classes and choose our own topics. If you prefer some specific type of material, we can use that. What matters the most to me is you using the language in a way that keeps you interested and motivates. Since I'm Nicaraguan, I speak with a Nicaraguan accent. That means I can help you if you wish to learn voseo (the use of vos instead of tú) or the dialect of my country. Of course, I have no trouble using standard Latin American Spanish either, so please tell me which way you'd rather work with me.

Another great lesson with Anna-Kristina :). It’s been a while since the last time we talked, but it was a very pleasant conversation catching up with each other’s life updates. Anna-Kristina is such a kind and flexible person who always prioritizes the student’s needs and be welcoming anytime. I must say, the majority of my Spanish learning and improvements (I hope I've made some!) owes much to her help!

My second session learning from Anna-Kristina was very effective. I immediately caught on to the topics she was teaching and knew how to put sentences together, etc. Anna-Kristina was very calm, patient, and fun throughout the whole session. She makes you feel comfortable, teaching according to your level of pace. I am definitely looking forward to my next learning session.
