Aniko

Another awesome lesson with Aniko! This is the teacher that inspires, helps you navigate through complex concepts of the Hungarian language, uses different teaching techniques: from explaining grammar to reversing roles, where you get to ask the questions in Hungarian too. I always feel great after our lessons, because I do feel like I progress every time. And Aniko always goes far and beyond to make sure I have all the necessary learning materials AND she finds and puts together fun and creative dialogues that we break down together and act it out :) Always looking forward to next lessons, thank you for being such a great and inspiring teacher!

^^ Aniko is a very generous teacher, we had issues using skype but even though it was probably due to my connection she went out of her way and gave me extra time. In addition, she's always very committed to our classes and creates opportunities to use the new words we encounter along the way. I can't recommend her enough!

I asked Anikó for help with improving my listening skills, and she selected some readings for me to try to understand in real time. It was perfect! She selected dialogs at just the right level: Simple enough for me to listen with confidence, but with enough difficulty that I'd also grow!

I asked for help learning the imperative mood. With handouts and very interesting conversational situations, Anikó has made mastering this tricky concept fun and successful. I appreciate the way she holds back when I am struggling for a word, and gives me just enough of a hint to help me remember it on my own, if possible. That's a real teacher skill!

It has been a few months since my last lesson and I was feeling quite insecure about speaking again. But as usual, Aniko made it a comfortable learning environment and I feel I was able to ease back into conversational Hungarian.
