Grown up and raised in Germany's capital city - Berlin - I do enjoy learning languages very much - just as I love teaching them. :-) Another great passion of mine is traveling. Whenever I have free time, I am "away for a trip." I've helped Germans improve their English for 9 years and have taught German for almost 8 years. First, I started acquiring students on a local basis in Berlin and then offered to tutor people abroad. Later I taught German to foreign prisoners in the JVA-Tegel (Tegel prison); thus, I learned how to behave professionally and understand even in stressful situations. My knowledge of German grammar goes beyond the C1 and C2 levels, and I am sure that I can help you improve yours without much effort and, more importantly, without pressure! - Based on the CEFR
- 14 units à 28-36 lessons
- Every subject is divided into 2 lessons, sometimes a student needs more time, though
- The student gets access to a language learning software with tons of material, such as recordings, grammatical explanations, games, conjugation tables & intuitive exercises
- The student is given feedback after every lesson that provides additional material, and a summarization of the lesson

Lars is an excellent conversation partner. He has an impressive ability to keep the conversation flowing and engaging without seeming either to control it or to put the pressure on the student. When I started iTalki I worried about filling an entire hour with second-language chat, but our lessons fly by. His corrections are targeted and encouraging.

Had a really good time learning with Lars. He was very kind, kept the conversation positive, was encouraging, etc. I really appreciate how he was fine with going over the material slow with me. Definitely will book some more lessons with Lars. 👍🏻
