Hi everyone who wants to learn Japanese! こんにちは😃
My name is Mika Mccalley.
I majored in English and American literature and education when I was in college in Japan. I qualify as a junior high and high school English teacher and Japanese language teacher.
I came to the U.S. In 2007 from Sendai city, Miyagi prefecture. I lived in GA for 4 years, 6 months in Florida, moved to Brazil lived there for a year, went back to Japan Tokyo, and then finally came back to Arizona, the U.S. Yes, I moved a lot but all was good. I love traveling around the country, a cat lover, I have 4 cats 🐯

I’ve been teaching Japanese since I came to the U.S. In 2007. I am a certified Japanese language educator with 16 years of experience.
I have taught over 100 students of different age groups, from preschool students to adults, and different levels of students from beginners to advanced levels.
I have helped many students to reach their goals!

We went over my goals and what we should plan on studying during lesson time. Mika was very helpful, speaks clearly, gives examples and small practice exercises, and is very nice. I am looking forward to taking more lessons :)
