I’ve had the pleasure of being a student of Cristina and I couldn't be happier with my experience. As someone with a full-time job and limited time for other activities, including learning Mandarin, Cristina's enthusiastic approach made all the difference. She has a unique talent for making the content enjoyable for me to retain. In just 6 months of lessons, I was able to travel around China, even in non-mainstream cities, and communicate the basics to get around. It's astounding that locals could understand me, given that I was learning remotely from my home in Australia and don’t have many native speakers to practice with. Cheers for all your help Cristina - 加油！

To learn is to make mistakes. Cristina is a dedicated and a patient teacher who taught me over 2000 words and phrases, which help me with my life in Shanghai every single day. We are not talking about “what’s your hobbie?” kind of conversation here. Imagine yourself seating in a meeting discussing video strategy and promotion using multiple channels for marketing, when your colleagues asking you whether you can find a suitable vendor and sign a contract according to their budget? BTW you’re the only foreigner there. Could you do it? I can, only because of Cristina. If you need to advance your Mandarin for real-life situation - she is fantastic. Thank you Cristina for helping me throughout this year.

Cristina makes learning fun. Even though my Chinese skill is not that high yet, she makes it easy and comfortable for me to speak in Chinese. Most of all, I absolutely love that she teaches me vocabulary that is actually used in daily conversation, as well as expressions that make my Chinese sound more natural. Cristina is patient and a joy to talk to. Thank you always, Cristina! I look forward to our weekly lessons! :)

今天的 material was challenging for me, moreso than usual, but Cristina helped remove a couple of sticking points I had on it, and I can use it better in my language classes today (the next day). 非常好 as always!

Cristina老师很惊人！ She continues to really push what I learn in my Chinese classes I take for work and cement it so it sticks. She is fun and playful as well; if you’re tired of drudging through boring, monotonous lessons full of grammar exercises you won’t remember, this is the teacher for you. I always looks forward to our classes together.

Another excellent lesson with Cristina. I don’t take the time to type out a glowing review for her as often as I should, but my speaking confidence in particular in my intensive Chinese course has been night and day compared to before I started working with her. I love that she allows the lesson to naturally go in different directions some days, while never making it feel like we’re going down irrelevant tangents or wasting time. I always come away from our lessons having learned a few new things in addition to reinforcing what I’ve learn in class.
