2018年4月9日起成为italki教师兴趣话题自然环境宠物历史饮食信息技术
Seven years ago, I left the United States to live in the Philippines. I have decided to stay here and make this country my permanent home. I enjoy seeing the sights on my island by motorcycle when I am not in class. I like working in the garden, but my flowers do not seem to appreciate it much. I love animals and have kept some unusual pets. Right now, I have a couple of great dogs, a rabbit, and a flock of pigeons. I have always been interested in other cultures and languages. I love talking to new people and hearing about their experiences, so working as an online teacher is a great fit for me. I have a level 5 TEFL certification and acquired it with a distinction.

Since moving to the Philippines, I have learned how vital it is for some people to learn and use a new language. I need one for my everyday life, and speaking the local language makes my trips to immigration much more pleasant. I appreciate that an intelligent person who has a great vocabulary in their native language may feel frustrated when they struggle to say something in their second language. I understand how lonely it can be when the people around you cannot see your personality because you do not know how to express yourself. I also know how fabulous it feels to overcome those challenges. I understand what my students need because I am a student.我提供的课程和我的教学风格
In my opinion, most people learn well in a relaxed environment. However, I also feel it can be beneficial to have some structure unless a person has already reached their goals. Because of that, I try to adapt my sessions to the needs of each student. I have lots of material for adults and share it freely with everyone who takes one of my lessons. I do not use puppets or toys in my classes, so children may find my sessions boring. There are many teachers here on iTalki that specialize in teaching children. Unfortunately, I am not one of them. I prefer adult students, and I do not offer recordings of my lessons. Please, do not ask. :)我的教学资料
