I've taught English for the past three years to children, teenagers, and adults, in Mexico and New York, and also online to students worldwide, especially with students from Brazil, China, Korea, Turkey, and Saudi Arabia.
My preparation: a B.A. in American Civilization from Brown University, an M.S. in Journalism from Columbia University.
I was a journalist for newspapers, magazines, and web magazines for 8 years! So I am also a super pro at helping students with writing.我提供的课程和我的教学风格
First, I talk to students to discover their needs. Then I design lessons to best help them meet their goals. I like to use many resources for teaching: grammar websites, news articles, discussion questions, songs, and TV shows, among others.我的教学资料

ESL Middle school teacher, 7th and 8th gradeI designed and taught middle school ESL classes to 7th and 8th grade students at a private school in Mexico. The students were intermediate and advanced so the classes included literature and writing.

online English tutor/teacherI taught and tutored ESL students of all levels from many different countries, including practicing conversation, grammar lessons, reading and writing, creating online teaching games, and creating lessons using TV shows and movies.
2017 - 2018
English teacherI taught group and individual ESL classes for basic and intermediate students in person in Mexico. I created the curriculum and taught it as well, incorporating audios, videos, and creating real-life materials such as pretend fruit, play money, clothing, plane tickets etc.

Franzika is more than just an extremely qualified language teacher - Currently, she is my life coach for my step-by-step approach for my future working field: I wanna start with language online teaching in my native German for English and French speaking economists.
