2018年5月1日起成为italki教师兴趣话题历史运动健身饮食宠物旅行
I was born and raised in Kanazawa, Japan, a beautiful historic city in western Japan. In high school, I participated in a one-year study abroad program in Dunedin, New Zealand, and that was the very beginning of my journey of learning and mastering English! Some of my hobbies include running, traveling, watching documentary movies, and building my English skills!
僕は石川県金沢市で生まれ育ち、現在も金沢在住です。高校時代に、ニュージーランドへ１年間留学する機会があり、その時から語学の学習に勤しみ、また大学では国際関係を専攻していました。小旅行に出かけたり、ドキュメンタリー番組を見る事が好きです。そのようなちょっとした会話も、レッスン中に学習も兼ねてできればと思います！

The college I went to in Boston, USA, had a language and culture learning club, so I had my own class and taught Japanese there for about four consecutive semesters. My students were from all different levels, so I tried my best to tailor my lessons to make each lesson fun and interesting for everyone in the class.我提供的课程和我的教学风格
My goal for every italki lesson is to make it as interactive as possible! I strongly believe that we all learn and get better at a language by actually using it and making millions of mistakes! Please feel free to ask me any questions during my lesson, and I will answer them in the easiest possible way for you to understand.

Gen-san has been a great teacher thus far! He's well prepared for each session, with topics that are covered in an easy-to-follow format. He gives plenty of examples, and carefully guides me along.
I'm looking forward to many more sessions with Gen!

I had my first lesson with Gen sensei and was very pleased with how it turned out. We initially spoke some Japanese to start and despite my struggle to speak Japanese, which is one of the main things I wanted to improve, he was very patient and friendly. We then had a great discussion about my goals, his proposed teaching style to fit my needs and any other questions I had. Overall a fun lesson and great experience. I'm looking forward to my next lesson(s) with him!
