Mar

When I started practicing Spanish and conversations with Mar, I was finalizing B1 in a physical language school, but I was barely able to speak more than one to two sentences. The words I had learned I felt I couldnt remember for conversations and I was shy to talk, and after only a short while this has changed. I feel like I can actually have a conversation using what Ive learned so far. Mar is extremely well-prepared with a structure for each class (but flexible and checks in re what I feel like I need). Moreover, she creates a safe atmosphere with natural patience where one feel like one can speak while also getting the support one need. Mar also complements the verbal practice with gramma (introduction/recap or more extensive) and written questions. At least for me, it helps sometimes to see questions in writing if I did not catch it verbally. I can only highly recommend practicing Spanish with Mar!

Mar, tienes una increíble habilidad para inspirar confianza en los demás y haces que el aprendizaje sea muy accesible. Hay pocas horas en mi semana en las que sonrío más.

Thank you for this lesson, it was fun as always! Spanish imperative forms are not as easy as they are in English, but thanks to you I think I will be able to use them next time. :) Making me think of the forms was a real effective way to have me understand the whole concept faster. ¡Gracias!

Mar es una profesora estupenda, muy cercana, explica de manera clara y prepara mucho todo el material para las clases con lo que se aprovecha muchísimo el tiempo. Además transmite mucho entusiasmo y emoción en lo que explica. 100% recomendable
