My name is Miki. I was born and raised in Japan. I'm here because I find it rewarding to be able to help people improve Japanese and enjoy teaching. I worked as a TA at a university in the US so I have experience helping with university courses.教学经验
I have taught children as young as five years old. For children, I use puppets and power point slides to learn words and grammar together. Conversation lessons are fun tool for the Japanese learners to talk about their favorite things, recent news, or about their family and friends.我提供的课程和我的教学风格
My lessons are the place for people to practice safely without judgements. You are welcomed to talk about any topics of your interest in Japanese, and I will type out words and phrases that suit the most so that you can review after the class. However, if the topic does not align with the italki community guidelines, I will have to end the lesson immediately and your account will be reported.
Lessons with cancellations within 24 hours and no show will be charged in full unless emergency.我的教学资料

Mimi’s style is exactly what I was looking for. She is patient and encouraging and her English is outstanding, which makes it easy for me to understand her explanations. She is also fun and has a good sense of humor, which helps make lessons enjoyable.

In just a few months, look how many lessons I've completed! Learning Japanese with Mikiさん is so fun and rewarding that I've changed my schedule around just to be able to fit more lessons in. I've taken Japanese classes/courses in the past, but always seemed to fall off over time - not this time. With Mikiさん, I'm learning how to truly express myself in Japanese - humor, storytelling, excitement, emotions. I highly recommend her.
