Gianluca

Gianluca is the best Italian teacher on Italki! His patience is extraordinary and he does such a good job of helping you through the conversation. He has so much enthusiasm for the conversation and it gives you the confidence to try new words and phrases. He provides the perfect amount of help and your conversation skills rapidly improve with his help!

Gianluca is such an exceptional tutor, so extraordinary that I secretly hope that he would remain a hidden gem that only a few lucky ones like myself have the opportunity to discover. :)

Gianluca is always filled with passion and energy in his lessons. Today, he explained the difference between "an" and "in" for cities and other government entities. His explanation cleared up my confusion over this important grammar point.

The best! Gianluca brings much humour and enthusiasm to every lesson. I don't know how he does it! He is very responsive and encouraging and I am learning new vocabulary and grammar in a very natural way (i.e. related directly to our conversations). Italian history and culture also form part of our sessions .

Gianluca made it easy for me to feel confident speaking Italian and was expert at tailoring the conversation to my interests and with speaking just past the level of my capability so that I could reinforce and grow my skills at the same time.
