Hey everyone, nice to meet you!
My name is Mayu, a Japanese teacher based in Sapporo. As well as teaching Japanese, I practiced traditional Japanese tea ceremony for four years at university.
I’m looking forward to getting to know you and speaking Japanese together!

Attaining accreditation at the Institute of International Education in London for the teaching of Japanese as a foreign language I am qualified not only to teach Japanese to non-native speakers but I am fully qualified teacher in Japan, working in for almost two years in my hometown of Sapporo, Hokkaido. I am happy to take on students at any point in their journey into the Japanese language, from beginners to advanced learners and create a comprehensive and tailored approach to each individual’s needs and goals.
I believe that in order to improve your Japanese, the most important thing is that you are able to enjoy the learning process and have fun in the class!我提供的课程和我的教学风格
I make and prepare all of my lesson materials, though I have almost every reputable text book on hand if you have a particular book or course you wish to follow. If you don’t have any textbooks yet I can prepare the material for you and together we can find a solution that fits you best! I also have materials for the JLPT test if you are interested in attaining qualifications in Japanese proficiency.

Mayu sensei is the best Japanese teacher out there. Her explanations are always top notch, and sensei gives lots and lots of examples to explain the grammar pattern that we are studying about. Be it grammar, or speaking, it always seems easy with sensei by my side. I will recommend Mayu sensei to everyone out there, you can book lessons with her without any hesitation and I'm sure you'll love it!

Mayu is a wonderful teacher! On "off days" when I just can't seem to string a sentence together, she is very patient and makes me think that I'll be able to figure this out ;) ほんとにありがとう、まゆせんせい！
