If you are looking for a solid Dutch language teacher, look no further. Hello, I’m Bas Scholts, a fully qualified and very experienced teacher from Rotterdam in the Netherlands. I studied Dutch at Stichting Lerarenopleiding Zuidwest-Nederland in Delft en de Hogeschool Rotterdam & Omstreken. In addition to teaching, there is time for sports (indoor soccer, squash and spinning), reading, cooking, movies, tv shows and music.教学经验
Until 2011 I have taught Dutch at a high school in the Netherlands. Beside the normal classes I set up vocabulary training, provided exam training and much more. In addition, I have trained students who wanted to become a Dutch language teacher for years. After my high school career I started teaching Dutch as a foreign language in Thailand. I can proudly say that the average exam results of my students were always above the national average. To this day, I enjoy teaching. The interaction with the students makes it even more interesting and I like to share my knowledge of Dutch with others.

You know which goals you want to achieve but how to get there is often a lot less clear. I can help you with that. Because of your specific wishes you largely determine the content of the lessons. Whether it is about improving your pronunciation, your speaking skills in general or preparing for the integration exam, I will always try to push your skills to a higher level.
I'm relaxed and easy going but serious. My lessons will largely be tailored to your requirements, although I can offer textbook classes too. I have been with Bas for almost a year and I can assure he has been an excellent professor! He is very supportive, organized and always sends some preparing materials. Bas really inspires me to learn Dutch. He is very resourceful and experienced, and helped me find the right teaching materials for my need. He always actively listens and corrects me when I make a mistake, without breaking my motivation or
