Hey there! I'm a 28-year-old chemist who is currently living and working in the beautiful city of Medellín, Colombia. I'm passionate about science, sports, language teaching, different cultures and constant learning. Being a Spanish tutor on Italki has given me the opportunity to grow as a person and as a professional by getting to know students from many parts of the world and their culture as well as their different way of thinking.
As tutor, I enjoy talking about a lot of topics such as science, Colombian culture, the world's different cultures, gastronomy, trips and adventures.

I'm a very patient, kind, funny and open-minded person. My English skills and methodology make it easier to teach people who are just starting in Spanish learning and don't have yet the skills to communicate. I am also very respectful, educated and always try to do my best, which guarantees a good performance on the development of the lessons.

My lessons guarantee an excellent and funny student-tutor interaction where topics of interest may be addressed by the student if they like (conversation). I'll guide and correct the student in a very good way to make the class pleasant and enjoyable for the student. Likewise, I am very open to receive recommendations and apply them for the proper development of communication. My students constantly learn many things about Colombia, LATAM, the World, Science and Spanish culture.
Grammar books, articles, readings, current news, slides, video, patience and passion are some tools to teach students of any level.

It is easy to tell that Brayan takes teaching seriously and cares about his students. He is very patient and understanding about the difficulties of learning another language as an adult. Brayan explains concepts well and gives examples to help the student process the information more easily.

Eeeek!!! Super excited about the progress I have made with Brayan. I went into class doubting that I learned what I needed to for todays lesson and it turned out to be the total opposite.
