Hi! My name is Amanda and I am an English and Portuguese teacher. I'm from the South of Brazil, but I live in France. I love books, food, and traveling. I am very passionate about the language learning process, and I speak Portuguese, English, and Spanish. I am also currently learning French.

I have a degree in English, Portuguese, and Translation Studies from UFRGS, in Brazil, and I have been teaching English and Portuguese for the past nine years, in both schools and to private students. My students have ages that go from little infants up to adults, with several different levels of language knowledge and goals.

I work with structured lessons, so you can notice your own improvement. When we have our first lesson, we will go through your goals and build a plan together for your classes. If you choose conversation lessons, we will focus on discussing various topics orally. If you choose traditional lessons, we will develop all of your skills.

She’s very knowledgeable with good grammar material and explanations and will correct you in a friendly and patient manner. She’s resourceful in preparing interesting topics for the class and you can learn a lot of interesting facts about Brazil while picking up the language. Highly recommended!

Faz mais de um ano que a Amanda ensina inglês para a minha irmã de 15 anos.
A minha irmã ama aprender com a Amada, pois ela é muito querida, jovem e divertida.

Great first class!
It's nice that Amanda speaks multiple languages. We were able to draw comparisons and switch languages to better grasp Portuguese vs Spanish and French.
