such a fun lesson! really enjoying the variety of topics we've been discussing. as always, marlene is extremely kind and patient, and does an excellent job of explaining meanings and grammar.

I feel so lucky that I picked Marlene for my first italki experience. She explains things well, and I always feel comfortable asking for clarification for anything I’m not clear on. And she continues to be patient with me getting used to the technology we use for remote lessons. Grazie, Marlene, for another great lesson. 😊

Marlene is such a lovely person. We laugh a lot during the lesson and time flies. We continued with household activities, prepositions and articles. I learned a lot, but never had the impression to "be at school", but rather to sit with a friend in a café. Thank you for this focused but relaxed learning style.

I want to keep taking her classes as she is pacient and let me ask her many questions. I have just started learning italiano and don't know many words yet but I would like to understand what she says and also I'd like to tell her what I think so that I can keep motivated and continue to learn with fun.
