Sarah Moon

Ms. Moon is an amazing teacher who is passionate, knowledgeable, and engaging all at once. Throughout the past few months she's been a wonderful mentor, and I've been progressing extremely well, and have obtained conversational fluency despite only starting lessons for a few months! She's an absolute gem and an incredible teacher ❤️

Our lesson on cooking coincided with Chuseok, so we also talked about the foods that are prepared for the holiday. I really like how Teacher Moon incorporates history and culture with the language lessons.

When I am trying hard to find the right words and put them in the right order to say what I'm thinking, Teacher Moon is patient and encouraging, so I can gain confidence.

선생님 is alway's great, I love my lessons with her, I usually come prepared with pictures of things I've done or cooked and we chat all about them, and she gives me lots of insight into korean culture. I always finish my lessons feeling like I've learned a little more Korean and come away even more confident.

We practiced speaking in Korean today. 선생님 listened very patiently and agreed to teach from some extra study materials that I wanted to follow.
