Hello, my name is Silvia Gómez, Educational Psychologist (University of Barcelona) with a Spanish as a Second Language certification (Cervantes Institute). I have experience in different educational areas such as rural, enterprise, private and virtual education.
I'm a really empathetic and energetic person. I love nature, animals, traveling and dancing. Also, I love to interact with people and to learn about other's interests.教学经验
I'm a very patient and empathetic person with a lot of facility to interact with other people creating bonds of trust with them very easily. I promote an active interaction with my students so they can develop the language better and faster.
I'm open to listen to my students in order to modify my classes so they can be more comfortable with me and with my method.

My methodology is based on the socio-constructivist approach. What is that? It is a methodology where the student is the protagonist of their own learning process. In this way, it is important to detect the current level of the student so that, with the help of an expert, in this case me, the person would reach their maximum potential as a learner. The ideal way to do this is by helping students ti give meaning to what they are learning. Therefore, I'll make sure that my teaching style is focus on your goals and your own pace.
Mutual trust is undoubtedly the key component during my classes since the student has to trust that the teacher is there to promote their growth and development.我的教学资料

I really love my classes with Silvia. She's very nice, attentive and very passionate about sharing the mexican culture. The classes are personalized and we talk about things I am interested about. Silvia was great but poor connection, kept dropping. I finally dropped off about 20min into a 45 min session. I've been trying to evaluate teachers to see who i'd like to work with. A couple I have to rule out because of constant drop of connection.
