Ai(あい)

I've had about 35 lessons with Ai this year, and they have paid off tremendously in terms of speaking confidence and overall comprehension. Ai is a very encouraging and friendly teacher, but what I like best about the lessons is the flexibility; we can work on reading, speaking, kanji, or anything else, and it's always useful and interesting. Thank you so much and see you next year!

Having had a couple of lessons with Ai sensei and many lessons with other teachers, I'm confident in saying that she is now my favourite teacher here on italki. We have great conversations (in Japanese only) every single lesson and I can feel I'm getting better and better at this language each time. I appreciate it a lot when she corrects me every time she notices I get something wrong. I love her lessons a lot!!! Thank you Ai sensei ありがとう😊

It is very fun to learn Japanese with Ai. I was able to practice a lot of Japanese with interesting and funny conversations. She speaks in a very understandable way and she writes all the new vocabulary/grammar/sentences in the chat and this is very helpful for me, because I can memorize this new vocabulary easily after the class.
