I was born in the United Kingdom and worked for many years in Business before coming to Ecuador in 2007 for a climbing holiday. I fell in love with this country and decided it was time for a career change. I retrained as a teacher and have been teaching English and Business. I am now working as an independent educator teaching online and have taught students in over 58 countries. When I am not working I love going to the mountains and also work with local mountain guides to help them improve their English教学经验
I have been teaching for the last eleven years and have experience of working in a range of educational establishments. In terms of ESL, I am an Cambridge Oral examiner for their international exams ( A2-C1) and have experience of preparing students for these exams. I have extensive experience of preparing students for IELTS exams and teaching students online, particularly the speaking and writing components of the exams. Also I am an IB examiner and have taught Business Management, English B and the Theory of Knowledge.我提供的课程和我的教学风格
The main aim is to give my students a personalised class which will help them achieve their long term objectives especially if they are preparing for exams. During classes, I will give students constructive feedback and give recommendations as to how to improve their English. I can also support you in developing your writing skills.

EducatorFor the last 4 years, I have been working as an independent educator in Ecuador. My role includes been the Team Leader for an exam centre in Ecuador which involves training speaking examiners for the Cambridge International exams. In addition, I am an oral examiner for Cambridge and examine from A2 to C1 and also grade Business Management for the International Baccalaureate. Also I have run training programs for teachers in Ecuador and work with a number of private students

I do not recommend this teacher Lucy.
Firstly I sent her a message with claim about my goals for studying English. She recommended to book a lesson with her and then she can evaluate my English level and offer me a plan.Neither my level was evaluated nor plas was made.
During the lesson I shared that I do not like listening materials in English because I have other opinion how the language should be learnt. She replied to this that I have to listen materials in English, even it is passive listening and then she send me materials where I can listen to.
I don’t think that this teacher has necessarily skills for evaluating and helping people learning a language as English. She cannot offer concrete solution to concrete demand and do not respect personal preferences!
