The most important thing is how often you come into contact with Japanese and how strongly you are interested in it including the cultural, social background. My specialty in university: Folklore, Celtic study in Ireland and Brittany, France. I like history, culture and travelling.

Main students: Business people and their family, embassy diplomats, doctors and university students.
Experienced teaching in Japanese schools. Business Japanese for meeting with Japanese businessmen as well.

My class is communicative approach. Customized lessons for each client using Zoom.
I usually make handouts for each client to suit their individual needs. These handouts prepared before hands.
Noting additional information on the handouts while sharing it on the screen.
Clear their grammar questions firstly and focus on their target. The lesson are carried by using many kind of topics or what they want.

Today I have completed level one of Japanese for Busy People (the textbook of choice or Tomoko). I am so happy with my progress, I have learned so much and I look forward to the next level. She let me know that it will be a bit more difficult, but I am sure that with her guidance I will be able to learn well.

Every lesson I am learning more and more. We reviewed -nai form an then went to learn te+imasu to say when a verb is in process of being done. Tomoko is always helpful and gives me insight as to why Japanese uses certain grammar structures. Looking forward to my next class!

Another great class with Tomoko, she taught me more about how to ask for permission and grant/ deny it. She always gives me context for why we use certain grammar. I also got to review -nai form with her.

A very insightful class always. Learned a new grammar structure that required to use “te” forms and it seems that I am understanding it better each lesson. Looking forward to the next class!

Today I continued to learn how to talk about commutes and give directions and understand them for when taking the train. It is a subject that requires skill but Tomoko was patient with me and helped me understand the concept. I'm improving every lesson thanks to her.

Today we continued to study directions and time markers for duration. This was the hardest subject so far but Tomoko made it easy to understand and corrected my mistakes so that I can better learn how to not repeat them.
