My name is Delphine, and I live in Gothenburg (Sweden) with my wife. I am an experienced and qualified French as a Foreign Language teacher and I have taught French in Taiwan, China, South Korea and the United States. I love to learn and teach languages as much as I love to interact with students from around the globe. I like going for walks in the nature, doing yoga, and sitting in cafes reading or people watching.

My teaching career spans high schools, universities, and cultural institutions such as the Alliance Française, where I have developed a deep understanding of language instruction in multicultural settings. Since 2020, I’ve also been providing online French classes, making use of innovative teaching platforms to engage younger students. Delphine is a wonderful teacher - my goals are to improve my speaking and listening skills with French speakers, and this is exactly what we do. We talk quite organically about topics of interest, which is very helpful because in trying to explain something about my life, my weekend, my family, etc, I figure out which words I need to learn, and she provides helpful vocabulary, grammar, and pronunciation support that are exactly in line with my goals. I'm thrilled to have met Delphine and look forward to talking to her each week!

C'etait une grand plaisir apprendre avec Delphine. Elle is tres responsif dans notre le conversation.Elle parlait avec suffisamment de lenteur pour que je comprenne presque tout le temps ses questions. J'ai eu la parole la plupart du temps et j'ai donc pu travailler ma grammaire, ma syntaxe et mon vocabulaire pendant une bonne partie de la demi-heure. Son tarif est un peu cher par rapport aux autres. Je pense que cela vaut la peine d'avoir des séances avec elle également, en binôme avec d'autres professeurs afin de pouvoir pratiquer de manière ciblée certaines compétences dans votre langue.
