I’ve been working with Eri for almost 3 years. She is an incredibly patient and kind Japanese teacher who is always willing to help. I can’t recommend her enough!

Elly san is very patient and kind. I like how she is very calm as she explains the errors I made during class. She is really a true hidden gem.

I only started lessons with Elly-san recently yet each lesson I've had with her it feels like I've known her for longer. She is so kind and patient and very good at teaching. You can feel the enthusiasm she has for every class, something that is rare for some teachers. I highly recommend her to anyone wanting to learn Japanese from scratch or if you are a more advanced learner Elly-san will make you progress. I cannot wait for future lessons with her.

I've been studying with Elly for almost four years now, and I’m so grateful to her for the progress I've made! We completed Genki II and Quartet together while I study kanji and listen to podcasts on my own. She challenges me to write and speak, which balances input with output, and I’ve noticed that vocabulary and grammar seem to stick better. When I travelled in Japan I could ask questions and have light conversations which was so satisfying. Putting in the work to learn the grammar and read can be a struggle sometimes but Elly is always relaxed and incredibly funny so I always look forward to my lessons with her.

Elly san is such a fun and energetic teacher. She really makes Japanese fun to learn and is also able to break it down into simple steps for beginners. I highly recommend her, you'll definitely learn Japanese with her.
