I am a writer, tutor, biologist & martial artist. I live in Oulu, Finland, where you will find me either on a hiking trail or delivering your food 🤠. I spend much of my free time working out, reading good books & watching anime.

I was often used to help refine the pronunciation and sentence building of my schoolmates, when I was younger. Thus, I can easily speak slower, with an accent that is easier to understand or use words which are more basic.
I have learned a lot on iTalki, until now. I believe my teaching has improved and my system works. I have had complete beginners, thus I feel comfortable taking the first steps with you. Nonetheless, I am also guiding more advanced students. I myself do occasionally make mistakes, whilst on this path of becoming a good tutor, if something surpasses my knowledge, I will make sure to find it after our lesson and fill you in.我提供的课程和我的教学风格
I no longer offer grammar lessons.
My conversation practice is either chill talk or article/book reading and discussion.
Terms & Conditions:
-> If I have another lesson after our lesson I will end the conversation 5 minutes before end (60 min -> 55 min) in order to ensure punctuality.
-> If you show up late unless I have nothing else to do after our lesson, we will end at the regular time
-> If you don't show up without prior notice, the lesson fee will be charged.
-> Rescheduling please with 24h prior notice, except in case of emergency. Otherwise, the lesson will be fully charged.我的教学资料

Hans is a really great speaking partner. He has many interests, and is really interested in YOUR interests. Lots of topics to talk about, and sadly, the time goes by so fast! Recommend 100%.

Fun! That's the one attribute that's not listed for the teacher. Hans is enthusiastic and interested in my activities. He encourages me to tell me as much auf deutsch as I can, which is vital to actually learning the language. And we laugh a lot -- at the situations and at my mangling the language -- but he always makes me feel positive about how I am learning.
