I am Nayoung from Seoul. And I am a native speaker and qualified Korean language teacher. I am a language lover. So I know that learning a language is fun but also there are difficult times, and how important to have a teacher’s support to move on. I will not be just a teacher but also will support and encourage you to reach your goal. The day you reach your goal will be my happiest day! : ) I can’t wait to get started! :D I always try to make the student feel comfortable so that they can enjoy the class!!! My qualifications: * Teacher’s Certificate for Secondary School Teacher (Grade II) * Degree in Korean as a foreign language * Certificate of Korean language teacher * Managing Korean language classes in King Sejong institute * I have been teaching Korean On and offline in private and group. * And will help you to study not only the Korean language but also various Korean cultural aspects. THE MOST important thing in Learning languages is motivation. Because it will always boost you to reach your goal and create synergy between us. Nayoung is the best Korean Teacher! I've been learning Korean for a few months now and I'm really enjoying my weekly lessons. Nayoung is very patient and encouraging, even though I still make a lot of mistakes. The lessons are well structured and fun, and provide a great foundation for learning to have real life useful conversations in Korean. I'm grateful to have found such a great teacher through italki and would highly recommend Nayoung to anyone wanting to learn Korean as a complete beginner. :)

I have been taking weekly lessons with Nayoung for three months now and I can highly recommend her to anyone. She quickly adapted the lessons to my existing knowledge of Korean, my needs (more speaking) and never hesitates to provide great ad-hoc explanations about anything whenever the need arises. The lessons and homework are well prepared and I always feel a little challenged to grow and improve based on her great feedback. On the personal side Nayoung is very kind, friendly and very patient. My lessons are early in the morning in my timezone and I get annoyed at sleepy me getting stuck ever so often. Whenever that happens Nayoung calmly waits until I collect my thoughts without any pressure whatsoever. At the same time she tries to push me subtly to use more Korean whenever my existing knowledge could express something but I used English out of habit. In short: I'm very happy with the lessons and am looking forward to many more!

She tailors the lessons to your current level so you are able to advance faster. She is dedicated to your Korean experience, whether you are learning for TOPIK or just for fun. Lessons with her are the best part of my week!

Nayoung is really patient and explains things really well. At the moment, we are reviewing the whole book quickly and it is really nice to see how far and how well I have learnt concepts and that what I am learning has been retained.
